We're beginning to develop pre-fab homes for our store in Hangflame Ridge, and as they become available, we'll put them up for sale. Also, various items of furniture will also be available.

Aside from that, what the heck is this!?

The Architect is the publication of the Second Architecture Society. We are a group of individuals that include club owners, designers, artists, writers, dj's, musicians, builders, scripters; our goal is to promote "emotional bandwidth" by minimizing "spiritual lag". We advocate beauty and responsible building as part of the Second Life experience. Too often sims have become cluttered chaotic scrambles, what we term as "Avatarian Architecture". "Second Architecture" tries to take into consideration the environment and create builds that foster serenity. We advocate responsible advertising practices and responsible traffic earning.

Future postings will examine in greater detail the concepts of Avatarian and Second Architecture, as well as highlighting builds that reflect both concepts. We will also be providing articles about the aesthetics of Second Architecture.

It is my sincere hope that this will not become a dry, flakey read, but rather will stimulate discussion and open the mind to new ideas of building in Second Life.
